What You'll Learn

Mark splits the session in two: 10 minutes on the language access obligations Massachusetts organizations already carry, then 20 minutes on putting PRF88 to work.

What Title VI & Executive Order 615 Require

Title VI applies to agencies and schools that receive federal funds. Executive Order 615 requires every executive department agency to name a Language Access Coordinator and develop a Language Access Plan. Source: Mass.gov (opens in a new tab)

What Piedmont Global Offers on PRF88

Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) under Category 1, and document translation under Category 3.

How to Order Without a New Procurement

Confirm your organization is eligible, issue a purchase order against PRF88, and connect to an interpreter through a toll-free number. You don't need any special equipment.

How to Choose a Vendor on PRF88

Every eligible organization still has to pick a vendor. Mark covers what to ask for, including rollout, staff training, and usage reports you can take to leadership.

Access Only Counts When Someone Uses It

A contract on file doesn't help the resident at the front desk or the parent on hold. Staff who know when to call an interpreter do. The webinar covers how to get your team there.
